Mass for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

We invite you to honor the life and memory of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI this Thursday as we pray together as a parish community.

To that end, a Mass of the Dead for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI will be celebrated on Thursday, January 5th at 8am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church (the regular Thursday Mass time and place).

Also, the funeral Mass for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, who passed away on December 31 at the age of 95, will be held on Thursday at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome at 9:30 a.m. (3:30 a.m. EST). Live coverage will begin at 3 a.m. on EWTN and the Mass can be viewed again at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
