The St. John Paul II Parish Social Justice & Peace Commission collaborates with parishioners and parish staff to integrate the Gospel and the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church into the life of our parish. The commission organizes and supports opportunities for all parishioners to involve themselves in helping people in need.
Commission members identify and assess local needs and available resources. They work closely with existing parish and community organizations providing service to those in need in four main areas:
